Leadership Greater McHenry County (Rotary) Students Class of 2026

It is a joy for another one of my early tasks here at LGMC to be thanking you for the Rotary Club of Woodstock's gracious support of the Youth Community Leadership Program! As I got to know the participants towards the end of their program, I was blown away as they summed up the impact that LGMC has made and how they are showing up differently as a result.
I'm so glad that you were able to join us for the graduation celebration. One of the really special takeaways for me was the one-word check-out that a team shared as they were delivering their presentations. Their choices of "Pivotal-Inspirational-Adventuresome-Opportunity-Insightful" provided a peek into the difference that the program made for each of them.
I also thought you'd appreciate having the Leadership Statements that the Rotary's sponsored students created:
· Chloe - "I am a leader who inspires people to be the best they can be by being uniquely me."
· Salome - "I lead with confidence to encourage and give motivation to others to achieve the goal they believe in."
For these students, this was more than just an academic exercise, I've been watching them put it into action. Your sponsorship made this possible!
I am excited to be attending the Rotary meeting on Friday, April 3 to share more about LGMC's programs and we are delighted to be working with you again on the Class of 2027 sponsorships. Thanks again for the continued support!
